The Indian Navy’s sail training ship INS Sudarshini arrived at Lisbon, Portugal, on 22 August 2026 as part of its Lokayan 26 transoceanic expedition. The three-masted barque sailed in through the Tagus River. Lisbon was the ship’s 15th port visit in seven months, with exchanges with the Portuguese Navy and the Indian diaspora.

INS Sudarshini’s Lokayan 26 voyage: what happened?
