UPSC (IAS) preparation in Lucknow: Battle IAS, Aliganj

Most aspirants in Lucknow start the same way. They buy a stack of books, join a batch, and three months later still can’t say which parts of the syllabus UPSC actually asks about. We start from the other end.

How we teach: questions first, books second

Every topic here begins with the previous year questions UPSC has set on it. Take Polity. Between 2011 and 2025 the Prelims paper kept returning to the same few areas: Fundamental Rights, Parliament, the Governor, and the constitutional bodies. Once you see that pattern on the Polity PYQ page, you know where to read deeply and where a quick revision is enough.

So the order is simple. Diagnose where you stand with a short test, read the PYQs of a topic, then read the theory that answers them. I have watched students save months this way.

What is free on this site

• The full UPSC Prelims PYQ bank, every question with the official answer and an explanation.
• The official syllabus, line by line, each line linked to the PYQs asked from it.
• Daily current affairs written with the exam angle, plus a Mains box on how to use each story in an answer.
• Mains PYQs with model answers, built the way a good answer copy looks.

The Aliganj centre

Our offline centre is at A-1/15, Sector-H, Aliganj, close to Purania Chauraha. Students from Kapoorthala, Jankipuram, Vikas Nagar and Mahanagar reach it easily. We use it for offline mock tests in real exam conditions, OMR sheets included, and for doubt sessions after each test.

Classroom programmes will be listed in the store when they open. Until then, the best way to meet us is an open mock.

Who this suits

Graduates and final-year students in Lucknow who want a clear plan more than a crowded batch. Working aspirants too: the PYQ bank and explainers work well in short daily sessions.
