- PM Modi attended the 17th BRICS Summit in Rio de Janeiro on 6-7 July 2025 [MEA].
- He said the UN Security Council, IMF, World Bank and WTO must be reformed, and thanked leaders for strong language on UNSC reform in the Summit Declaration [MEA].

- He called the Pahalgam attack an attack on all humanity and thanked BRICS leaders for condemning it [MEA].
