Today a patient on one health app cannot book a doctor listed on another. UHI gives every app a common language: any app can talk to any other through a common gateway, so the patient is not locked in.

  • Requests from any UHI-enabled app route through the ABDM gateway to registered providers.
  • Only doctors and facilities verified in HPR and HFR can join.
  • Next phase: lab diagnostics, vaccination slots, pharmacies and government health programmes.
