PM’s Varanasi projects worth ₹6,350 crore and the Mahila Sammelan
On 28 April 2026 the Prime Minister addressed a women's convention in Varanasi and inaugurated and laid foundation stones of projects worth about ₹6,350 crore. Women linked to Banas Dairy received ₹106 crore as bonus. A 100-bed critical care block was founded and two Amrit Bharat trains were flagged off, from Kashi to Pune and Ayodhya to Mumbai.
