“Fruit Horizon 2026” at ICAR-CISH Lucknow
At "Fruit Horizon 2026" at ICAR-Central Institute for Subtropical Horticulture, Lucknow, on 7 May 2026, the Union Agriculture Minister said that higher output alone is not enough; India must work on quality, shelf life, processing, logistics and export standards. A task force on growers' and exporters' problems and a Clean Plant Centre at CISH were announced.
