Mahoba: Gorakhgiri tourism and GI for Deshawari paan
On 21 June 2026 the UP Chief Minister inaugurated and laid foundations for 88 projects worth over ₹697 crore in Mahoba. He said Gorakhgiri, linked to Guru Gorakhnath, is now a tourism centre and will get a ropeway and other adventure tourism facilities, and that Mahoba's Deshawari paan has won global recognition through a GI tag.
