₹747.17 crore to UP since 2019-20 for the SC/ST Atrocities Act
The Centre released ₹747.17 crore to Uttar Pradesh between 2019-20 and 2025-26 under the scheme to enforce the PCR Act, 1955 and the SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989, and 1,43,543 victims got relief (Rajya Sabha reply, PIB, 5 August 2026). Cases against SCs in UP rose from 11,829 in 2019 to 14,642 in 2024.
