Siddharthnagar projects; aspirational district award
On 9 August 2026 the UP Chief Minister inaugurated or laid foundation stones for 107 projects worth ₹334 crore in Siddharthnagar, in the Domariyaganj and Bansi assembly areas. He said the district had made a leading jump among India's 112 aspirational districts and won a ₹25 crore award from NITI Aayog. Kala Namak rice is its ODOP product.
