UPPCS GS-VUttar Pradesh’s Chief Electoral Officer Navdeep Rinwa has told district electoral officers and electoral registration officers to remove duplicate entries from the voter list and make it error-free before the draft roll comes out on 12 November under the Special Summary Revision. Booth level officers will get Form 7 filled for duplicates, and a special campaign day on 24 October will try to enrol eligible citizens who are still missing.

21 Oct 2026UPPCS GS-VIThe roughly ₹4,000 crore World Bank-supported UP-AGREES project, which covers 28 districts of eastern UP and Bundelkhand, has signed MoUs with Google and Network for Humanity, ITC and Aquabridge in the presence of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. The aim is to move farming beyond higher output to better incomes, through an open digital network for farmers, climate-smart crop clusters and technology-led fish farming.

He listed the State’s police reforms: over 2.26 lakh personnel recruited, the commissionerate system in seven big cities, a cyber police station in every district and women’s help desks at every police station, along with action against 88,973 criminals under the Gangsters Act.
