UPPCS cut-off trends: Battle IAS exam guide card

UPPSC publishes cut-offs category-wise and, for the final stage, post-wise, after each recruitment cycle ends. They are on the commission’s website along with the candidates’ marks.

We are adding a verified table here only from UPPSC’s own documents. Until it goes up, use the official PDFs on uppsc.up.nic.in rather than numbers passed around on social media, which often mix up Prelims and final cut-offs.

How to read them

  • Prelims is decided by GS Paper I alone. CSAT just needs 33%.
  • Final cut-offs differ by post. Deputy Collector and DSP need far higher totals than many other posts in the same exam.
  • The number of vacancies moves cut-offs: 2026 has about 500 posts against about 200 in 2025.

Setting a target

Aim for mock scores clearly above the last published GS-I cut-off for your category, so a hard paper does not knock you out.
